Security

How PoweX protects your account and your funds — real mechanisms already implemented, not marketing promises.

How your funds are guarded

Your balances are held in institutional custody, with segregated accounts and controlled access. Our internal ledger is checked against the real balance in custody every hour, and any unreconciled divergence above $5,000 freezes withdrawals automatically until a person reviews it.

Limits and human review

Withdrawals above a set threshold are reviewed by a person before being sent. It is the same check that stops an unauthorised payout from leaving without anyone looking, and it can add some delay.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Add an app-based 2FA code as a second step on login and on high-value withdrawals, on top of your password.

Withdrawal PIN

A separate PIN, distinct from your password, required to confirm any withdrawal — so a leaked password alone is never enough to move funds out.

Antiphishing code

Set a personal code that appears in every real email/message from PoweX, so you can immediately tell apart a genuine notification from a phishing attempt.

Active sessions you control

See every device and channel currently logged into your account, with IP and last activity, and revoke any of them instantly.

Hourly custody reconciliation

An automated job compares your internal balance against the real balance held with our custody provider every hour. If the discrepancy exceeds $5,000, withdrawals freeze automatically until a manual review — protecting everyone's funds, not just yours.

Encryption and credential storage

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords and PINs are stored as one-way hashes — never in plain text.

No system is 100% risk-free. Always enable 2FA, never share your PIN or 2FA code with anyone (including anyone claiming to be PoweX support), and double-check withdrawal addresses before confirming.
